Setting Up

1. Download theVRkit app on your mobile phone. This is available in the App Store and Android Store. If you don't yet have theVRkit rotator, you can purchase one here.

2. Turn your phone's Bluetooth on.

3. Open theVRkit app. You will be prompted to allow access to your phone's camera. Click OK to allow.

Connecting your Phone to the Rotator

4. Turn your rotator kit ON

5. Click the Settings icon in the top left hand corner of your screen. This will open a drop down menu. Switch the Rotator Mode setting to ON. You will be prompted to allow theVRkit app to use Bluetooth. Click OK to allow.

6. Your phone will scan to connect to your rotator. Once connected, the status bar in the top right hand corner of your screen will say Rotator ON.

Getting ready to Shoot

7. Clip the fisheye lens to your phone camera (you may need to remove your phone case if using one).

8. Adjust lens to ensure it is covering the correct lens on your phone camera. This will change the camera view to a circular view.

9. Attach your phone to the rotator kit and tighten it accordingly.

10. Connect your rotator kit to your tripod / monopod.

Taking a 360 Photo

11. Click the Mode Switch on the rotator to adjust your rotation speed to 20 seconds, 40 seconds, or 60 seconds. Most spaces you'll be able to fully capture on any setting, however in darker or dimly lit conditions, we suggest using a longer rotation speed to ensure you are able to capture the space in the highest quality possible.

12. Tap your screen to start taking your photos.

13. Once your 360 photo has been captured, you will be prompted to allow access to your photos. Click Allow Access to All Photos to proceed.

14. You will then see a preview of your photo in 360 view. Review your photo to ensure you're happy with your shot.

15. Click the Left Arrow icon in the top left hand corner of your screen to exit this preview.

16. Repeat this process for each room inside your space. For details on how best to take your photos, please see our Best Practice Guide.

Exporting your 360 Photos

17. All of your 360 photos will be saved directly to your phone's camera roll. You can then upload these images directly to your EyeSpy360 account, or you can export them to another device via a USB cable.
